We gave the go ahead to Legends after seeing the proofs. Both decks are now in production! The wooden boxes for the Gilded Sets are also on their way! Everything is going smoothly and we expect fulfillment to be on time.

Also, Backerkits have gone out. Check your spam/junk folder, if you haven’t received yours. We’ll let you know we’ll in advance before we are going to lock them down and prep everything to begin shipping. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out and we’ll get them answered. We Made It!

Thank you for hanging in there throughout the campaign. It was a rollercoaster for us, especially the last 5 days! The campaign was funded on 3 different occasions before finally remaining over the goal. Thanks to those of you who came on board from the start, pledged during the campaign and stayed, we managed to weather well over $3,000 in dropped pledges. It's the nature of the beast that is Kickstarter...

Legends

Since we were on the edge of funding for most of the campaign, we held off on posting print files(in case we didn't make it). On Thursday, Randy posted the print files to Legends to get things started.  We don't expect the delay to affect our June shipping ETA, as we always add a cushion month to account for any unforeseen problems in production.

BackerKit and Add-Ons

BackerKits will be set up around mid-April. BackerKit is where you’ll be able to specify or add any Add-On items (including a few Wood Box Gilded Sets that will be available as a BackerKit Add-On). Keep in mind The Wood Box Gilded Sets are very limited.

Payment Problems

Any Backers with payment problems will have about a week before Kickstarter drops them as a Backer.

Printer Change

Hey Everyone,

It’s Randy, designer of the Divination Decks. Mike and I thank you again for your support!

We’ve come to a decision that we thought we should announce as soon as possible. We’re moving production of the Decks over to Legends Playing Cards. Mike and I both wanted to print Divination with USPCC, but there’s a couple things behind-the-scenes that have really delayed progress.

The first is a lot of back-and-forth with USPCC on which specific Indiana resale license we need for printing with them (every time I’ve printed with USPCC in the past with Honeybees, Sketch, ORNATES,… were always through a company I freelanced with). They finally pointed us at the one they want, but it would cause a 3-4 week delay waiting for it to process.

The second problem is the USPCC lawyers just came back with changes they want with some of the occult elements in the design (even though we asked them to pre-approve the design months ago). That’s when I told Mike “we’re out!”.

I’ve printed over 30 different Decks with Legends, so I know they’ll do an amazing job printing the Divination Decks! We hope you stick with the project. We wanted to make this announcement as soon as we made the choice, and we wanted to be as transparent as possible.

One thing I know for sure - with Legends there’s no risk of uneven border registration on the Cards!

Moving Right Along

We want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your support of our DIVINATION campaign.  After a little over a week, we are close to being funded and look forward to bringing this project to life.  We've received a couple of questions about the gilded decks and their availability. 

Were the Early Birds the only gilded sets available? 

No, we still have gilded sets available, you may need to scroll down a little further if you're on a mobile device to see them. For some reason, depending on the mobile device, Kickstarter separates the Early Bird tiers and the tiers after their Early Birds have ended. 

Can the gilded decks be used for cardistry? 

It's your world, and if you want to juggle those cards have at it! Just be sure to tag us so we can see it.
